Growing up in Nashville, Tennessee, my parents instilled valuable characteristics in me, one of which is working hard for what you want to achieve. Throughout my life, this has been a value that I have consistently practiced and emphasized. From childhood, I was surrounded by a network of family and friends who were entrenched in small business ownership, varying across a wide range of industries. Being exposed to these individuals allowed for my entrepreneurial spirit to be born at a young age.

Recruited to run Track and Field at the Division I level, I continued my academic and athletic career at the University of Tennessee. Balancing a demanding athletic workload with a double major in Finance and Marketing, hard work, time management, and determination were innate qualities that I consistently used. Upon graduating magna cum laude, I began my corporate banking career at Regions Bank in Birmingham, Alabama. During my time at Regions Bank, I helped manage a $1B+ MSR portfolio, grown from ~$750mm during my tenure.

After gaining valuable experience in finance, I pursued an MBA to broaden my operational and managerial skill set. I look to pair this with my desire to have a hands-on, operator role in a company where I can ultimately make a positive impact on the local community. Being able to use these skills while leading a team of individuals drives me to succeed in my career.

In my free time, I have maintained my commitment to running, making the inevitable transition to the marathon. One of my favorite activities is traveling to new places with my wife, who is about to begin her career as an attorney. Raised in houses that value good food, we both share a love for cooking and trying new restaurants.
